20 Then Joseph’s master took him and (A)put him into the (B)prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison. 21 But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He (C)gave[a] him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison,(A) the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.
But while Joseph was there in the prison, 21 the Lord was with him;(B) he showed him kindness(C) and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.(D)
