(A)The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord (B)caused all that he did to succeed in his hands. So Joseph (C)found favor in his sight and attended him, and he made him overseer of his house (D)and put him in charge of all that he had. From the time that he made him overseer in his house and over all that he had, the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house (E)for Joseph's sake; the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had, in house and field. So he left all that he had in Joseph's charge, and because of him he had no concern about anything but the food he ate.

Now Joseph was (F)handsome in form and appearance.

The Lord was with Joseph(A) so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him(B) and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did,(C) Joseph found favor in his eyes(D) and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household,(E) and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.(F) From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household(G) of the Egyptian because of Joseph.(H) The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.(I) So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care;(J) with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate.
