⁹ Then he ^[a]had yet another dream, and informed his brothers of it, and said, “Behold, I have ^[b]had yet another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” ¹⁰ He also told it to his father as well as to his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have ^[c]had? Am I and your mother and ^(A)your brothers actually going to come to bow down to the ground before you?”

^26 (A)The one who overcomes, and the one who keeps My deeds ^(B)until the end, ^(C)I will give him authority over the ^[a]nations; ²⁷ and he shall ^[b](D)rule them with a rod of iron, ^(E)as the vessels of the potter are shattered, as I also have received authority from My Father;

^21 (A)The one who overcomes, I will grant to him ^(B)to sit with Me on My throne, as ^(C)I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.

The Escape to Egypt

¹³ Now when they had gone, behold, an ^(A)angel of the Lord *^(B)appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.”

⁹ And the great ^(A)dragon was thrown down, the ^(B)serpent of old who is called the devil and ^(C)Satan, who ^(D)deceives the whole ^[a]world; he was ^(E)thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

The Ascension

⁹ And after He had said these things, ^(A)He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight. ¹⁰ And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, then behold, ^(B)two men in white clothing stood beside them, ¹¹ and they said, “^(C)Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who ^(D)has been taken up from you into heaven, will ^(E)come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
