Genesis 37:31-33

31 Then they took (A)Joseph's robe and slaughtered a goat and dipped the robe in the blood. 32 And they sent the robe of many colors and brought it to their father and said, “This we have found; please identify whether it is your son's robe or not.” 33 And he identified it and said, “It is my son's robe. (B)A fierce animal has devoured him. Joseph is without doubt torn to pieces.”

31 Then they got Joseph’s robe,(A) slaughtered a goat and dipped the robe in the blood.(B) 32 They took the ornate robe(C) back to their father and said, “We found this. Examine it to see whether it is your son’s robe.”
33 He recognized it and said, “It is my son’s robe! Some ferocious animal(D) has devoured him. Joseph has surely been torn to pieces.”(E)
