Genesis 24:6-8

6 Then Abraham said to him, “(A)Beware that you do not take my son back there! 7 (B)The Lord, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house and from the land of my birth, and who spoke to me and who swore to me, saying, ‘(C)To your [a]descendants I will give this land’—He will send (D)His angel ahead of you, and you will take a wife for my son from there. 8 But if the woman is not willing to follow you, then you will (E)be free of this oath of mine; (F)only do not take my son back there.”

6 “Make sure that you do not take my son back there,”(A) Abraham said. 7 “The Lord, the God of heaven,(B) who brought me out of my father’s household and my native land(C) and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, ‘To your offspring[a](D) I will give this land’(E)—he will send his angel before you(F) so that you can get a wife for my son from there. 8 If the woman is unwilling to come back with you, then you will be released from this oath(G) of mine. Only do not take my son back there.”(H)
