²⁴ Then the Lord ^(A)rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah from the Lord out of heaven,

²² With plague and with blood I will enter into ^(A)judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, ^[a]a torrential rain, ^(B)hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

⁷ and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us, ^[a](A)when the Lord Jesus will be revealed ^(B)from heaven ^(C)with ^[b]His mighty angels

Doom of the Beast and False Prophet

²⁰ And the beast was seized, and with him the ^(A)false prophet who ^(B)performed the signs ^[a](C)in his presence, by which he ^(D)deceived those who had received the ^(E)mark of the beast and those who ^(F)worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the ^(G)lake of ^(H)fire, which burns with ^[b]brimstone.

¹⁰ And ^(A)the devil who ^(B)deceived them was thrown into the ^(C)lake of fire and ^[a]brimstone, where the ^(D)beast and the ^(E)false prophet are also; and they will be ^(F)tormented day and night forever and ever.

¹⁴ Then ^(A)Death and Hades were thrown into ^(B)the lake of fire. This is the ^(C)second death, the lake of fire. ¹⁵ And if ^[a]anyone’s name was not found written in ^(D)the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

^8 (A)But for the cowardly, and ^[a]unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral persons, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in ^(B)the lake that burns with fire and ^[b]brimstone, which is the ^(C)second death.”
