Genesis 18:10-13

¹⁰He said, “^(A)I will certainly return to you ^[a]at this time next year; and behold, your wife Sarah will have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent door, which was behind him. ¹¹Now ^(B)Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in age; Sarah was ^(C)past ^[b]childbearing. ¹²So Sarah laughed ^[c]to herself, saying, “^(D)After I have become old, am I to have pleasure, my ^(E)lord being old also?” ¹³But the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I actually give birth to a child, when I am so old?’

¹⁰Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year,^(A) and Sarah your wife will have a son.”^(B)

Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. ¹¹Abraham and Sarah were already very old,^(C) and Sarah was past the age of childbearing.^(D) ¹²So Sarah laughed^(E) to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord^(F) is old, will I now have this pleasure?”
