Genesis 1:5-7
International Standard Version
5 calling the light “day,” and the darkness[a] “night.” The twilight and the dawn were day one.
6 Then God said, “Let there be a canopy[b] between bodies of water,[c] separating bodies of water[d] from bodies of water!”[e] 7 So God made a canopy[f] that separated the water beneath the canopy[g] from the water above it.[h] And that is what happened:[i]

5 God called(A) the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.”(B) And there was evening, and there was morning(C)—the first day.
6 And God said,(D) “Let there be a vault(E) between the waters(F) to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it.(G) And it was so.(H)
