¹⁶ I will make your ^[a]descendants ^(A)as plentiful as the dust of the earth, so that if anyone can count the dust of the earth, then your ^[b]descendants could also be counted.

¹⁷ indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly ^(A)multiply your ^[a]seed as the stars of the heavens and as ^(B)the sand, which is on the seashore; and ^(C)your ^[b]seed shall possess the gate of ^[c]their enemies.

¹⁴ Your ^[a]descendants will also be like ^(A)the dust of the earth, and you will ^[b]spread out ^(B)to the west and to the east, and to the north and to the south; and ^(C)in you and in your ^[c]descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
