²⁶After Terah had lived 70 years, he became the father of Abram,^(A) Nahor^(B) and Haran.^(C)

²⁶And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

⁵No longer will you be called Abram^[a]; your name will be Abraham,^[b]^(A) for I have made you a father of many nations.^(B)

⁵Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

⁹Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep my covenant,^(A) you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.^(B)

⁹And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
