Ezra 10:9-11

9 Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin assembled at Jerusalem within the three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month. And all the people sat in the open square before the house of God, trembling because of this matter and because of the (A)heavy rain. 10 And Ezra the priest stood up and said to them, “You have broken faith and married foreign women, and so increased the guilt of Israel. 11 Now then (B)make confession to the Lord, the God of your fathers and do his will. (C)Separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and from the foreign wives.”

9 Within the three days, all the men of Judah and Benjamin(A) had gathered in Jerusalem. And on the twentieth day of the ninth month, all the people were sitting in the square before the house of God, greatly distressed by the occasion and because of the rain. 10 Then Ezra(B) the priest stood up and said to them, “You have been unfaithful; you have married foreign women, adding to Israel’s guilt.(C) 11 Now honor[a] the Lord, the God of your ancestors, and do his will. Separate yourselves from the peoples around you and from your foreign wives.”(D)
