God Will Restore Israel to Her Land

33 “As I live,” declares the Lord God, “with a mighty hand and with an (A)outstretched arm and with wrath poured out, I assuredly shall be (B)king over you. 34 I will (C)bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with (D)wrath poured out; 35 and I will bring you into the (E)wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face. 36 Just as I (F)entered into judgment with your fathers in the (G)wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you,” declares the Lord God. 37 “I will make you (H)pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant; 38 and I will (I)purge from you the rebels and those who revolt against Me; I will bring them out of the land where they reside, but they will (J)not enter the [a]land of Israel. So you will know that I am the Lord.

39 “As for you, house of Israel,” this is what the Lord God says: “(K)Go, serve, everyone of you his idols; [b]but later you will certainly listen to Me, and My holy name you will no longer (L)defile with your gifts and your idols. 40 For on My holy mountain, on the high mountain of Israel,” declares the Lord God, “there the entire house of Israel, (M)all of them, will serve Me in the land; there I will (N)accept them and there I will demand your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your holy things. 41 [c]As a soothing aroma I will accept you when I (O)bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered; and I will show Myself to be (P)holy among you in the sight of the nations. 42 And (Q)you will know that I am the Lord, (R)when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the (S)land which I swore to give to your forefathers. 43 And there you will (T)remember your ways and all your deeds by which you have defiled yourselves; and you will (U)loathe yourselves in your own [d]sight for all the evil things that you have done. 44 Then (V)you will know that I am the Lord, when I have dealt with you (W)in behalf of My name, not according to your evil ways or according to your corrupt deeds, house of Israel,” declares the Lord God.’”
