¹⁶ Then He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house. And behold, at the entrance to the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their ^(A)backs to the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east; and ^(B)they were ^[a]prostrating themselves eastward toward the sun.

11 Moreover, the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the Lord’s house which faced eastward. And behold, there were twenty-five men at the entrance of the gate, and among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and ^(B)Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.

²⁰ As for the ^(A)gate of the outer court which faced the north, he measured its length and its width.
