The Lord God Will Seek Them Out

¹¹ “For thus says the Lord God: ^(A)Behold, I, I ^(B)myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out.

^16 (A)I will seek the lost, ^(B)and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, and ^(C)the fat and the strong I will destroy.^[a] I will feed them in justice.

^4 (A)“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, ^(B)if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine ^(C)in the open country, and ^(D)go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?

¹³ Go and learn ^(A)what this means: ^(B)‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For ^(C)I came not to call the righteous, ^(D)but sinners.”

^6 (A)but go rather to ^(B)the lost sheep of ^(C)the house of Israel.
