³“As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, you will no longer quote this proverb^(A) in Israel.

Ezekiel 18:3

King James Version

³As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.

²⁹“In those days people will no longer say,

‘The parents^(A) have eaten sour grapes,
and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’^(B)

²⁹In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
