Ezekiel 16:9-14

New International Version

⁹“‘I bathed you with water and washed^(A) the blood from you and put ointments on you. ¹⁰I clothed you with an embroidered^(B) dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen^(C) and covered you with costly garments.^(D) ¹¹I adorned you with jewelry:^(E) I put bracelets^(F) on your arms and a necklace^(G) around your neck, ¹²and I put a ring on your nose,^(H) earrings^(I) on your ears and a beautiful crown^(J) on your head.^(K) ¹³So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes^(L) were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil^(M) and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen.^(N) ¹⁴And your fame^(O) spread among the nations on account of your beauty,^(P) because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord.^(Q)

⁹“Then I bathed you with water, washed off your blood from you, and ^(A)anointed you with oil. ¹⁰I also clothed you with ^(B)colorfully woven cloth and put sandals of ^[a]fine leather on your feet; and I wrapped you with fine linen and covered you with silk. ¹¹I adorned you with jewelry, put ^(C)bracelets on your wrists, and a ^(D)necklace around your neck. ¹²I also put a ^(E)ring in your nose, earrings in your ears, and a ^(F)beautiful crown on your head. ¹³So you were adorned with ^(G)gold and silver, and your dress was of fine linen, silk, and colorfully woven cloth. You ate fine flour, honey, and oil; so you were exceedingly beautiful and advanced to ^(H)royalty. ¹⁴Then your ^(I)fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, for it was ^(J)perfect because of My splendor which I bestowed on you,” declares the Lord God.
