40 (A)They shall bring up a crowd against you, (B)and they shall stone you and cut you to pieces with their swords. 41 (C)And they shall (D)burn your houses and (E)execute judgments upon you in the sight of many women. (F)I will make you stop playing the whore, and (G)you shall also give payment no more. 42 (H)So will I satisfy my wrath on you, and my jealousy shall depart from you. I will be calm and will no more be angry.

40 They will bring a mob against you, who will stone(A) you and hack you to pieces with their swords. 41 They will burn down(B) your houses and inflict punishment on you in the sight of many women.(C) I will put a stop(D) to your prostitution, and you will no longer pay your lovers. 42 Then my wrath against you will subside and my jealous anger will turn away from you; I will be calm and no longer angry.(E)
