Exodus 15:10-16

New International Version

¹⁰But you blew with your breath,^(A)
    and the sea covered them.
They sank like lead
    in the mighty waters.^(B)
¹¹Who among the gods
    is like you,^(C) Lord?
Who is like you—
    majestic in holiness,^(D)
awesome in glory,^(E)
    working wonders?^(F)

¹²“You stretch out^(G) your right hand,
    and the earth swallows your enemies.^(H)
¹³In your unfailing love you will lead^(I)
    the people you have redeemed.^(J)
In your strength you will guide them
    to your holy dwelling.^(K)
¹⁴The nations will hear and tremble;^(L)
    anguish^(M) will grip the people of Philistia.^(N)
¹⁵The chiefs^(O) of Edom^(P) will be terrified,
    the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling,^(Q)
the people^[a] of Canaan will melt^(R) away;
¹⁶    terror^(S) and dread will fall on them.
By the power of your arm
    they will be as still as a stone^(T)—
until your people pass by, Lord,
    until the people you bought^[b]^(U) pass by.^(V)

¹⁹When Pharaoh’s horses, chariots and horsemen^[a] went into the sea,^(A) the Lord brought the waters of the sea back over them, but the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground.^(B) ²⁰Then Miriam^(C) the prophet,^(D) Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels^(E) and dancing.^(F) ²¹Miriam sang^(G) to them:

“Sing to the Lord,
for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver^(H)
he has hurled into the sea.”^(I)
