Romans 1:24-28
New International Version
24 Therefore God gave them over(A) in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.(B) 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie,(C) and worshiped and served created things(D) rather than the Creator—who is forever praised.(E) Amen.(F)
26 Because of this, God gave them over(G) to shameful lusts.(H) Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.(I) 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.(J)
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over(K) to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
2 Thessalonians 2:8-12
New International Version
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed,(A) whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth(B) and destroy by the splendor of his coming.(C) 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan(D) works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders(E) that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing.(F) They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.(G) 11 For this reason God sends them(H) a powerful delusion(I) so that they will believe the lie(J) 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.(K)
