Exodus 4:23-24

²³ So I said to you, ‘^(A)Let My son go so that he may serve Me’; but you have refused to let him go. Behold, ^(B)I am going to kill your son, your firstborn.”’”

²⁴ But it came about at the overnight encampment on the way, that the Lord met ^[a]Moses, and ^(C)sought to put him to death.
