¹² the third row jacinth, agate, and amethyst; ¹³ and the fourth row beryl, onyx, and jasper. They were set in gold filigree when they were mounted. ¹⁴ The stones corresponded to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve stones^[a] corresponding to their names, with the engraving of a signet,^[b] each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.
