¹⁴ The Lord will fight^(A) for you; you need only to be still.”^(B)

²⁵ He jammed^[a] the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting^(A) for them against Egypt.”^(B)

³⁰ The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight^(A) for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes,

²² Do not be afraid^(A) of them;^(B) the Lord your God himself will fight^(C) for you.”

⁴ For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you^(A) to fight^(B) for you against your enemies to give you victory.^(C)”

⁴² All these kings and their lands Joshua conquered in one campaign, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought^(A) for Israel.

³ You yourselves have seen everything the Lord your God has done to all these nations for your sake; it was the Lord your God who fought for you.^(A)

¹⁰ One of you routs a thousand,^(A) because the Lord your God fights for you,^(B) just as he promised.

²⁹ The fear^(A) of God came on all the surrounding kingdoms when they heard how the Lord had fought^(B) against the enemies of Israel.

⁸ With him is only the arm of flesh,^(A) but with us^(B) is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.”^(C) And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.
