Say therefore to the people of Israel, (A)‘I am the Lord, and (B)I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and (C)I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. I (D)will take you to be my people, and (E)I will be your God, and you shall know that (F)I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out (G)from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I will bring you into (H)the land that I (I)swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I will give it to you for a possession. (J)I am the Lord.’” Moses spoke thus to the people of Israel, but they (K)did not listen to Moses, because of their broken spirit and harsh slavery.

And I will bring you to the land(G) I swore(H) with uplifted hand(I) to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob.(J) I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.’”(K)

Moses reported this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their discouragement and harsh labor.(L)

And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord.

And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
