19 Make one cherub [a]at one end and one cherub [b]at the other end; you shall make the cherubim of one piece [c]with the atoning cover at its two ends. 20 And (A)the cherubim shall have their wings spread upward, covering the atoning cover with their wings and [d]facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be turned toward the atoning cover. 21 Then (B)you shall put the atoning cover [e]on top of the ark, and (C)in the ark you shall put the testimony which I will give to you.

19 Make one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; make the cherubim of one piece with the cover, at the two ends. 20 The cherubim(A) are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing(B) the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover. 21 Place the cover on top of the ark(C) and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law(D) that I will give you.
