^33 (A)They shall not live in your land, otherwise they will make you sin against Me; for if you serve their gods, ^(B)it is certain to be a snare to you.”

¹³ know with certainty that the Lord your God will not continue to ^[a]drive these nations out from before you; but they will be a ^(A)snare and a trap to you, and a whip on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land which the Lord your God has given you.

²¹ For Saul thought, “I will give her to him so that she may become a trap for him, and ^(A)that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” Therefore Saul said to David, “^(B)For a second time you may become my son-in-law, today.”

²⁶ And I discovered as more ^(A)bitter than death the woman whose heart is ^(B)snares and nets, whose hands are chains. ^(C)One who is pleasing to God will escape from her, but ^(D)the sinner will be captured by her.
