¹⁷ “^(A)You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; ^(B)you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male slave, or his female slave, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

²¹ ‘^(A)You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his male slave or his female slave, his ox, his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.’

²⁰ Then Ahab said to Elijah, “^(A)Have you found me, enemy of mine?” And he ^[a]answered, “I have found you, ^(B)because you have given yourself over to do evil in the sight of the Lord.

^25 (A)There certainly was no one like Ahab who gave himself over to do evil in the sight of the Lord, ^[a]because Jezebel his wife incited him.

¹⁷ Then ^(A)they made their sons and their daughters pass through the fire, and they ^(B)practiced divination and interpreting omens, and ^(C)gave themselves over to do evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him.

¹⁸ For truly I say to you, ^(A)until heaven and earth pass away, not ^[a]the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished!

^17 (A)But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one ^[a]stroke of a letter of the Law to fail.
