¹⁸ ‘^(A)The Lord is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but ^(B)He will by no means clear the guilty, ^(C)visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children ^[a]to the third and the fourth generations.’

¹⁸ who ^(A)shows lovingkindness to thousands, but ^(B)repays the iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their children after them, O ^(C)great and ^(D)mighty God. The ^(E)Lord of hosts is His name;
