10 When the child grew older, she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became (A)her son. She named him Moses, “Because,” she said, “I (B)drew him out of the water.”[a]

11 One day, (C)when Moses had grown up, he went out to his people and looked on their (D)burdens, and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his people.[b]

Exodus 2:10-11
New International Version
10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named(A) him Moses,[a] saying, “I drew(B) him out of the water.”

11 One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people(C) were and watched them at their hard labor.(D) He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people.
