¹³ Redeem with a lamb every firstborn donkey,^(A) but if you do not redeem it, break its neck.^(B) Redeem^(C) every firstborn among your sons.^(D)

¹⁴ “In days to come, when your son^(E) asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ say to him, ‘With a mighty hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.^(F)

¹⁴ And they will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard^(A) that you, Lord, are with these people^(B) and that you, Lord, have been seen face to face,^(C) that your cloud stays over them,^(D) and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.^(E)

¹⁰ When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud^(A) filled the temple of the Lord. ¹¹ And the priests could not perform their service^(B) because of the cloud, for the glory^(C) of the Lord filled his temple.

³ Now the cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in, and a cloud filled the inner court.
