^7 (A)Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel ^[a]of the houses in which they eat it.

^13 (A)The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you ^[a]live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will come upon you ^[b]to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

^6 [a]Utterly ^(A)kill old men, young men, female virgins, little children, and women, but do not ^(B)touch any person on whom is the mark; and you shall ^(C)start from My sanctuary.” So they started with the ^[b]elders who were before the ^[c]temple.

²² who also ^(A)sealed us and ^(B)gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a ^[a]pledge.

¹⁹ Nevertheless, the ^(A)firm foundation of God stands, having this ^(B)seal: “^(C)The Lord knows those who are His;” and, “^(D)Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.”

² And I saw another angel ascending ^(A)from the rising of the sun, holding the ^(B)seal of ^(C)the living God; and he called out with a loud voice to the ^(D)four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, ³ saying, “^(E)Do not harm the earth, or the sea, or the trees until we have ^(F)sealed the bond-servants of our God on their ^(G)foreheads.”

⁴ They were told not to ^(A)hurt the ^(B)grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the people who do not have the ^(C)seal of God on their foreheads.

The Lamb and the 144,000 on Mount Zion

14 Then I looked, and behold, ^(A)the Lamb was standing on ^(B)Mount Zion, and with Him ^(C)144,000 who had ^(D)His name and the ^(E)name of His Father written ^(F)on their foreheads.
