32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished, and the people of Israel did (A)according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses; so they did. 33 Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its utensils, its hooks, its frames, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; 34 the covering of tanned rams' skins and goatskins, and the (B)veil of the screen; 35 the ark of the testimony with its poles and the mercy seat; 36 the table with all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence; 37 (C)the lampstand of pure gold and its lamps with the lamps set and all its utensils, and the oil for the light; 38 (D)the golden altar, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and (E)the screen for the entrance of the tent; 39 the bronze altar, and its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin and its stand; 40 (F)the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the (G)screen for the gate of the court, its (H)cords, and its pegs; and all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting; 41 the finely worked garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for their service as priests. 42 (I)According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the people of Israel had done all the work. 43 And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it; as the Lord had commanded, so had they done it. The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.(B) 33 Then they brought the tabernacle(C) to Moses: the tent and all its furnishings, its clasps, frames, crossbars, posts and bases; 34 the covering of ram skins dyed red and the covering of another durable leather[a] and the shielding curtain; 35 the ark of the covenant law(D) with its poles and the atonement cover; 36 the table(E) with all its articles and the bread of the Presence;(F) 37 the pure gold lampstand(G) with its row of lamps and all its accessories,(H) and the olive oil(I) for the light; 38 the gold altar,(J) the anointing oil,(K) the fragrant incense,(L) and the curtain(M) for the entrance to the tent; 39 the bronze altar(N) with its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils; the basin(O) with its stand; 40 the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard;(P) the ropes and tent pegs for the courtyard; all the furnishings for the tabernacle, the tent of meeting; 41 and the woven garments(Q) worn for ministering in the sanctuary, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when serving as priests.
42 The Israelites had done all the work just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(R) 43 Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the Lord had commanded.(S) So Moses blessed(T) them.

15 And this is the account of (A)the forced labor that King Solomon drafted to build the house of the Lord and his own house and (B)the Millo and the wall of Jerusalem and (C)Hazor and (D)Megiddo and Gezer 16 (Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up and captured Gezer and burned it with fire, and had killed (E)the Canaanites who lived in the city, and had given it as dowry to (F)his daughter, Solomon's wife; 17 so Solomon rebuilt Gezer) and (G)Lower Beth-horon 18 and Baalath and Tamar in the wilderness, in the land of Judah,[a] 19 and all the store cities that Solomon had, and (H)the cities for his chariots, and the cities for (I)his horsemen, and whatever Solomon (J)desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion. 20 All the people who were left of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of the people of Israel— 21 (K)their descendants who were left after them in the land, (L)whom the people of Israel were unable to devote to destruction[b]—(M)these Solomon drafted to be (N)slaves, and so they are to this day. 22 But (O)of the people of Israel Solomon made no slaves. They were the soldiers, they were his officials, his commanders, his captains, his chariot commanders and his horsemen.
23 These were the chief officers who were over Solomon's work: (P)550 (Q)who had charge of the people who carried on the work.
24 But (R)Pharaoh's daughter went up from the city of David to (S)her own house that Solomon had built for her. (T)Then he built (U)the Millo.
25 Three times a year Solomon used to offer up burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar that he built to the Lord, making offerings with it[c] before the Lord. So he finished the house.
26 King Solomon built a fleet of ships at (V)Ezion-geber, which is near Eloth on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom. 27 And Hiram sent (W)with the fleet his servants, seamen who were familiar with the sea, together with the servants of Solomon. 28 And they went to (X)Ophir and brought from there gold, 420 talents, and they brought it to King Solomon.

15 Here is the account of the forced labor King Solomon conscripted(A) to build the Lord’s temple, his own palace, the terraces,[a](B) the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor,(C) Megiddo and Gezer.(D) 16 (Pharaoh king of Egypt had attacked and captured Gezer. He had set it on fire. He killed its Canaanite inhabitants and then gave it as a wedding gift to his daughter,(E) Solomon’s wife. 17 And Solomon rebuilt Gezer.) He built up Lower Beth Horon,(F) 18 Baalath,(G) and Tadmor[b] in the desert, within his land, 19 as well as all his store cities(H) and the towns for his chariots(I) and for his horses[c]—whatever he desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon and throughout all the territory he ruled.
20 There were still people left from the Amorites, Hittites,(J) Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites(K) (these peoples were not Israelites). 21 Solomon conscripted the descendants(L) of all these peoples remaining in the land—whom the Israelites could not exterminate[d](M)—to serve as slave labor,(N) as it is to this day. 22 But Solomon did not make slaves(O) of any of the Israelites; they were his fighting men, his government officials, his officers, his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and charioteers. 23 They were also the chief officials(P) in charge of Solomon’s projects—550 officials supervising those who did the work.
24 After Pharaoh’s daughter(Q) had come up from the City of David to the palace Solomon had built for her, he constructed the terraces.(R)
25 Three(S) times a year Solomon sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings on the altar he had built for the Lord, burning incense before the Lord along with them, and so fulfilled the temple obligations.
26 King Solomon also built ships(T) at Ezion Geber,(U) which is near Elath(V) in Edom, on the shore of the Red Sea.[e] 27 And Hiram sent his men—sailors(W) who knew the sea—to serve in the fleet with Solomon’s men. 28 They sailed to Ophir(X) and brought back 420 talents[f] of gold,(Y) which they delivered to King Solomon.

shoot at her, spare no arrows,

15 (D)Raise a shout against her all around;
she has surrendered;
her bulwarks have fallen;
(E)her walls are thrown down.
For (F)this is the vengeance of the Lord:
take vengeance on her;
(G)do to her as she has done.
16 Cut off from Babylon the sower,
and the one who handles the sickle in time of harvest;
(H)because of the sword of the oppressor,
(I)every one shall turn to his own people,
and every one shall flee to his own land.
17 (J)“Israel is a hunted sheep (K)driven away by lions. and great destruction!

is cut down and broken!

a horror among the nations!
24 (AD)I set a snare for you and you were taken, O Babylon,
and (AE)you did not know it;
you were found and caught,
because you opposed the Lord.
25 The Lord has opened his armory
and brought out (AF)the weapons of his wrath,
for the Lord God of hosts has a work to do
in the land of the Chaldeans.
26 Come against her from every quarter;
open her granaries;
(AG)pile her up like heaps of grain, and devote her to destruction;
let nothing be left of her.
27 Kill all (AH)her bulls;
let them go down to the slaughter.
Woe to them, for their day has come,

21 “Attack the land of Merathaim

Pursue, kill and completely destroy[a] them,”
declares the Lord.

the noise of great destruction!
23 How broken and shattered
is the hammer(AD) of the whole earth!(AE)
How desolate(AF) is Babylon
among the nations!
24 I set a trap(AG) for you, Babylon,
and you were caught before you knew it;

because you opposed(AI) the Lord.
25 The Lord has opened his arsenal
and brought out the weapons(AJ) of his wrath,
for the Sovereign Lord Almighty has work to do
in the land of the Babylonians.(AK)
