¹⁰So ^(A)they ^(B)hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided.

¹⁰So they impaled^(A) Haman^(B) on the pole^(C) he had set up for Mordecai.^(D) Then the king’s fury subsided.^(E)

²The virgin of Israel has fallen;
She will rise no more.
She lies forsaken on her land;
There is no one to raise her up.
