Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Ang Pagkagamhanan ni Haring Ahasuerus ug ni Mordecai
10 Gipabayad ni Haring Ahasuerus ug buhis ang tanang katawhan sa iyang gingharian, bisan kadtong namuyo sa mga isla.[a] 2 Ang mga binuhatan ug ang mga kasaysayan sa pagkagamhanan ni Haring Ahasuerus apil ang kinatibuk-an sa sugilanon sa kabantog ni Mordecai, nga gihatagan sa hari ug taas nga ranggo, nahisulat sa libro sa mga sugilanon bahin sa mga hari sa Media ug Persia. 3 Ang Judio nga si Mordecai nahimong ikaduha kang Haring Ahasuerus. Inila gayod siya sa iyang isigka-Judio, ug tinahod nila siya kay naghago siya alang sa ilang kaayohan, ug mibarog alang sa ilang kasigurohan.

The Greatness of Mordecai
10 King Xerxes imposed tribute throughout the empire, to its distant shores.(A) 2 And all his acts of power and might, together with a full account of the greatness of Mordecai,(B) whom the king had promoted,(C) are they not written in the book of the annals(D) of the kings of Media and Persia? 3 Mordecai the Jew was second(E) in rank(F) to King Xerxes,(G) preeminent among the Jews, and held in high esteem by his many fellow Jews, because he worked for the good of his people and spoke up for the welfare of all the Jews.(H)
