Bondservants and Masters

^5 (A)Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, ^(B)with fear and trembling, ^(C)in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

² to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

¹⁷ But ^(A)the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, ^(B)without partiality ^(C)and without hypocrisy.

Submission to Masters^(A)

^18 (B)Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh.
