14 For this reason I (A)bend my knees before the Father, 15 from whom [a]every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that He would grant you, according to (B)the riches of His glory, to be (C)strengthened with power through His Spirit in (D)the inner [b]self, 17 so that (E)Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being (F)rooted and (G)grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with (H)all the [c]saints what is (I)the width and length and height and depth, 19 and to know (J)the love of Christ which (K)surpasses knowledge, that you may be (L)filled to all the (M)fullness of God.

20 (N)Now to Him who is (O)able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, (P)according to the power that works within us, 21 (Q)to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations [d]forever and ever. Amen.

Unity of the Spirit

Therefore I, (R)the prisoner of the Lord, (S)urge you to (T)walk in a manner worthy of the (U)calling with which you have been (V)called, with all (W)humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another (X)in love, being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the (Y)bond of peace. There is (Z)one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one (AA)hope of your calling; (AB)one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all (AC)who is over all and through all and in all.

But (AD)to each one of us (AE)grace was given (AF)according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore [e]it says,

(AG)When He ascended on high,
He (AH)led captive the captives,
And He gave gifts to people.”

(Now this expression, “He (AI)ascended,” what [f]does it mean except that He also [g]had descended into (AJ)the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is Himself also He who ascended (AK)far above all the heavens, so that He might (AL)fill all things.) 11 And He (AM)gave (AN)some as apostles, some as prophets, some as (AO)evangelists, some as [h]pastors and (AP)teachers, 12 (AQ)for the equipping of the [i]saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of (AR)the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to (AS)the unity of the faith, and of the [j](AT)knowledge of the Son of God, to a (AU)mature man, to the measure of the stature [k]which belongs to the (AV)fullness of Christ. 14 [l]As a result, we are (AW)no longer to be children, (AX)tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by (AY)craftiness [m]in (AZ)deceitful scheming; 15 but [n]speaking the truth (BA)in love, [o]we are to (BB)grow up in all aspects into Him who is the (BC)head, that is, Christ, 16 from whom (BD)the whole body, being fitted and held together [p]by what every joint supplies, according to the [q]proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself (BE)in love.
