3 But (A)sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness (B)must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4 Let there be (C)no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, (D)which are out of place, but instead (E)let there be thanksgiving. 5 For you may be sure of this, that (F)everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous ((G)that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 (H)Let no one (I)deceive you with empty words, for because of these things (J)the wrath of God comes upon (K)the sons of disobedience.

3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality,(A) or of any kind of impurity, or of greed,(B) because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk(C) or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.(D) 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater(E)—has any inheritance(F) in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a](G) 6 Let no one deceive you(H) with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath(I) comes on those who are disobedient.(J)
