14 [a]As a result, we are (A)no longer to be children, (B)tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by (C)craftiness [b]in (D)deceitful scheming; 15 but [c]speaking the truth (E)in love, [d]we are to (F)grow up in all aspects into Him who is the (G)head, that is, Christ, 16 from whom (H)the whole body, being fitted and held together [e]by what every joint supplies, according to the [f]proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself (I)in love.

17 (J)So I say this, and affirm in the Lord, (K)that you are to no longer walk just as the [g]Gentiles also walk, in the (L)futility of their minds, 18 being (M)darkened in their understanding, [h](N)excluded from the life of God because of the (O)ignorance that is in them, because of the (P)hardness of their heart; 19 and they, having (Q)become callous, (R)have given themselves up to (S)indecent behavior [i]for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.
