Everything Has Its Time

3 For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven:^(A)

²⁷ “For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.^(A)

⁶ He will repay according to each one’s deeds:^{(A) 7} to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life, ⁸ while for those who are self-seeking and who obey not the truth but injustice, there will be wrath and fury.^(B)

¹⁰ For all of us must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may receive due recompense for actions done in the body, whether good or evil.^(A)

⁶ For it is indeed just of God to repay with affliction those who afflict you

⁷ and to give relief to the afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels^(A)
