Ecclesiastes 2:23-25

23 Because all his days his task is painful and (A)grievous; even at night his [a]mind (B)does not rest. This too is vanity.
24 There is (C)nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and [b]tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is (D)from the hand of God. 25 For who can eat and who can have enjoyment without [c]Him?

23 All their days their work is grief and pain;(A) even at night their minds do not rest.(B) This too is meaningless.
24 A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink(C) and find satisfaction in their own toil.(D) This too, I see, is from the hand of God,(E) 25 for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment?(F)
