¹³ The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: ^(A)fear God and ^(B)keep His commandments, because this applies to ^(C)every person.

²⁹ Jesus answered, “The ^[a]foremost is, ‘^(A)Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one; ^30 (B)and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ ³¹ The second is this: ‘^(C)You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

⁸ My ^(A)Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so ^[a](B)prove to be My disciples. ⁹ Just as ^(C)the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you; remain in My love. ^10 (D)If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as ^(E)I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.

³¹ Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or ^(A)whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God.
