¹⁶ ‘^(A)Honor your father and your mother, just as the Lord your God has commanded you, ^(B)so that your days may be prolonged and that it may go well for you on the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

^46 (A)While He was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His ^(B)mother and ^(C)brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him.

²⁶ So when Jesus saw His mother, and ^(A)the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He *said to His mother, “^(B)Woman, behold, your son!” ²⁷ Then He *said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her into ^(C)his own household.
