13 About Joseph(A) he said:

“May the Lord bless his land
    with the precious dew from heaven above
    and with the deep waters that lie below;(B)
14 with the best the sun brings forth
    and the finest the moon can yield;
15 with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains(C)
    and the fruitfulness of the everlasting hills;
16 with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness
    and the favor of him who dwelt in the burning bush.(D)
Let all these rest on the head of Joseph,
    on the brow of the prince among[a] his brothers.(E)

Joshua totally destroyed them and their towns. 22 No Anakites were left in Israelite territory; only in Gaza,(F) Gath(G) and Ashdod(H) did any survive.

23 So Joshua took the entire land,(I) just as the Lord had directed Moses, and he gave it as an inheritance(J) to Israel according to their tribal divisions.(K) Then the land had rest(L) from war.(M)
