⁷ For ^(A)the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains and springs, flowing out in valleys and hills;

²³ But this is ^[a]what I commanded them, saying, ‘^(A)Obey My voice, and ^(B)I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you shall walk ^[b]entirely in the way which I command you, so that it may ^(C)go well for you.’

¹³ And when day came, ^(A)He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as ^(B)apostles: ¹⁴ Simon, whom He also named Peter, and his brother Andrew; and ^[a]James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew; ¹⁵ and ^(C)Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot; ¹⁶ Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

¹⁷ And then Jesus ^(D)came down with them and stood on a level place; and there was ^(E)a large crowd of His disciples, and a great multitude of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the coastal region of ^(F)Tyre and Sidon,
