³ And He humbled you and let you go hungry, and fed you with the manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, in order to make you ^[a]understand that ^(A)man shall not live on bread alone, but man shall live on everything that comes out of the mouth of the Lord.

⁴⁷ So all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and Nehemiah gave the portions due the singers and the gatekeepers ^(A)as each day required, and they ^[a](B)set apart the consecrated portion for the Levites, and the Levites ^[b]set apart the consecrated portion for the sons of Aaron.

⁴⁷ praising God and ^(A)having favor with all the people. And the Lord ^(B)was adding to ^[a]their number day by day ^(C)those who were being saved.

¹³ But ^(A)encourage one another every day, as long as it is still called “today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the ^(B)deceitfulness of sin.
