18 But then you are to remember that the Lord your God is the one who gives you the ability to produce wealth, to confirm his covenant that he promised to your fathers with an oath, as he does to this day.
19 But if you ever do forget the Lord your God and you follow other gods, and if you serve them and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will certainly perish. 20 Just like the nations that the Lord is about to destroy in front of you, you also will perish, because you would not listen to the voice of the Lord your God.

18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth,(A) and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
19 If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods(B) and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.(C) 20 Like the nations(D) the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God.(E)
