2 You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you. 3 Your eyes have seen what the Lord did at Baal-peor; for all the men who followed [and participated in the worship of] Baal of Peor, the Lord your God destroyed them from among you,(A) 4 but you who held tightly to the Lord your God are alive today, every one of you.

2 Do not add(A) to what I command you and do not subtract(B) from it, but keep(C) the commands(D) of the Lord your God that I give you.
3 You saw with your own eyes what the Lord did at Baal Peor.(E) The Lord your God destroyed from among you everyone who followed the Baal of Peor, 4 but all of you who held fast to the Lord your God are still alive today.
