⁵ For as a young man marries a virgin,
So shall your sons marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
^(A)So shall your God rejoice over you.

^19 (A)I will rejoice in Jerusalem,
And joy in My people;
The ^(B)voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her,
Nor the voice of crying.

¹⁷ The Lord your God ^(A)in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
^(B)He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
