Daniel 9:6-8

6 Moreover, we have not (A)listened to Your slaves the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our princes, our fathers, and all the people of the land.
7 “(B)To You, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us [a](C)open shame, as it is this day—to the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and all Israel, those who are nearby and those who are far away in (D)all the countries to which You have banished them, because of their unfaithful deeds which they have committed against You. 8 O Yahweh, to us belongs [b]open shame, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.

7 “Lord, you are righteous,(D) but this day we are covered with shame(E)—the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered(F) us because of our unfaithfulness(G) to you.(H) 8 We and our kings, our princes and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against you.(I)
