^6 (A)Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings and our princes, to our fathers and all the people of the land.

¹⁵ And now, O Lord our God, ^(A)who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself ^(B)a name, as it is this day—we have sinned, we have done wickedly!

¹⁶ “O Lord, ^(C)according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, ^(D)Your holy mountain; because for our sins, ^(E)and for the iniquities of our fathers, ^(F)Jerusalem and Your people ^(G)are a reproach to all those around us.

The Seventy-Weeks Prophecy

²⁰ Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God,

¹⁴ Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people ^(A)in the latter days, ^(B)for the vision refers to many days yet to come.”

Prophecy of the End Time

⁷ Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he ^(A)held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him ^(B)who lives forever, ^(C)that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; ^(D)and when the power of ^(E)the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.
