24 His power shall be great—(A)but not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction (B)and shall succeed in what he does, (C)and destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints. 25 (D)By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind (E)he shall become great. (F)Without warning he shall destroy many. And he (G)shall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken—but (H)by no human hand. 26 The vision of (I)the evenings and the mornings that has been told (J)is true, but (K)seal up the vision, (L)for it refers to many days from now.”

24 He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people.(A) 25 He will cause deceit(B) to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes.(C) Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.(D)

26 “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true,(E) but seal(F) up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.”(G)
